old news

Problem:  Too few original members left.

Solution:  Thermostat is not exactly a band anymore.

Explanation:  As decent, red-blooded, and healthy humans, the remaining original members of thermostat are no longer exactly thermostat.  Who knows what the future holds for Max and Mike?  A new band, maybe?  A break from real life to partake in some of the drama of professional wrestling?  Becoming castaways on the new season of Survivor?  Who knows and who cares?  Probably not you.

But don't worry.  Max still likes you.

In other news, there is a new link in the links section to an incredible band from the Providence, RI area.  Who are they?  Delta Clutch.  Go see for yourself.

In the words of the great D. L. Quandt, "What does the new year mean on January Second?  Dick."  Happy new whatever.

Our guestbook is working now.  Really.

Happy Holidays.  Only one more year until the real new millennium is upon us.  Are you compliant?  At any rate, there are a couple of new links in the 'elsewhere' section - one to our friend Andy's band, Slave Unit, and the other to a great New England music resource site, Just Another Scene.  Be sure to check them both out.

Oh - our guestbook isn't working.  Max broke it.

Drive safely and drink Mike's Hard Lemonade...not at the same time, of course.

There are a few new pictures in the images section.  We stress the word 'few.'  This is, after all, a work in progress.  Check them out.

Our guestbook is working again.  Go write things.  See you in California.

19-Dec-1999

The guestbook seems to be down at the moment.  It's a problem with Dreambook's server, so it's out of our hands for the time being.  Try again later.

We're happy to say that we will soon be making a non-musical appearance in our hometown of Benicia, CA.  It's a great town, and cool stuff can happen there when you let it.  It takes work, though; so if you're from Benicia, or any town for that matter, then take the liberty and do something cool to contribute.  People will appreciate it.

Outside of that, there isn't much to report, other than the fact that we're still looking for a drummer.  No, really, we are.

As you can probably tell, this page is very new and very much under (de)construction.  Thanks for your patience.

It's official; thermostat has taken the show to Rhode Island.  Not just a simple vacation, folks--they're now living there for as long as circumstances permit.

Please keep checking back here for updates.

All the pictures are fairly new, by the way. The shots from series one were taken, and graciously contributed, by Olivia. Thanks, Olivia.
